For Father’s Day Schweppes hired me for an e-commerce marketing campaign. They asked me to create a Father’s Day cocktail, as well as a Father’s Day themed online newsletter.
I created the ‘Pappy Taylor‘, a long drink twist on the penicillin cocktail.
I asked photographer Jonas Opdebeeck to photograph me for the newsletter and wrote content for the e-commerce campaign.
Recipe
Ingredients:
4.5 cl Scotch whisky
1.5 cl Peated malt whisky
2 cl lime juice
1 cl ginger syrup
10 cl Schweppes ginger ale
Preparation:
Fill a large longdrink glass with ice cubes.
Add the Scotch whisky, lime juice, and ginger syrup, and mix these ingredients well together with a bar spoon. Add the ginger lemonade and stir the mixture with a single stirring motion.
Finish with a dash of smoky peated whisky, without stirring, and garnish with candied ginger.
