To commemorate their 300th anniversary, the iconic cognac brand Rémy Martin extended invitations to 300 cocktail bars worldwide to join in the festivities, of which 4 bars from the Netherlands and 2 from Belgium.

The cognac was flowing generously when competing venues hosted their Rémy Martin anniversary festivities. The bars were secretly judged; The venue that hosted the best party would get rewarded by Rémy Martin. As part of the judging team for the Benelux region, curated by Better Drinking Ventures, I had the honor of experiencing the celebrations firsthand.

One month after the festivities, Bruges’ Bar Ran was announced as the winner for the Benelux region.
