Gold 999.9 Gin’s Belgian distributor Alcobrands hired me for the Spanish gin’s first ever cocktail competition in Belgium.
The competition took place in Bar Zar in the South of Antwerp. I was a judge alongside fellow judges spirits writer Rolf Schollaert (The Cocktail Nation) and Bar Zar owner Maxime Biot.

In the last round Donald “the hurricane” Simons secured the victory by keeping his cool in the mystery box challenge.
