For an international cocktail competition, Copperhead Gin’s The Alchemist Experience, I was asked to join a group of bartenders on their journey of the global finals of the competition.

I was asked to lead a masterclass on presentation skills for the participants’ final cocktail presentations.
The masterclass took place in a cruise ship casino in Barcelona.

For each stop of the cruise ship another masterclass or workshop was planned. A masterclass on ice by Marian Beke in Marseille (FR), a Tiki workshop by Nightjar’s Tony Pescatory in Ibiza, and a masterclass on savoury cocktails by Erik Lorincz in Mallorca.

Three days later I was a surprise judge for the last leg of the cocktail competition, in Mallorca.
The competition was won by Belgian bartender Ruben Patoor of cocktailbar Fugazi.
